The Eindhoven School of Education is led by prof.dr. Wim Jochems.

Board of Governors

De Board of Governors of ESoE consists of:

  • mrs. W.L.M de Koning-Martens, member of the Executive Board Fontys
  • Prof. dr. Ir. C.J. van Duijn, rector magnificus of the TU/e
  • Prof. dr. J.W. Niemantsverdriet, faculty Chemical technology TU/e, professor and former dean
  • mr. M.J.G. Wintels, president of the Executive Board Fontys

 The Board is responsible for:

  • the annual approval of the educational programs;
  • the approval of the research program;
  • the approval of the annual report and the long term planning;
  • the approval of the quality control system per task;
  • the approval of the budget.

Teacher Training Program Advisory Board (ALT)

ESoE has an Teacher Training Program advisory board (ALT). The advisory board advises the dean of ESoE about all issues related to the teacher training program, including its content and approach, the structuring of the curriculum, planning and organization and quality control. Its members are:

  • Mrs. Drs. A. Buys, general director Fontys Teacher Training Institute Tilburg
  • Prof. dr. A. van Herk, director of studies in chemical technology
  • Prof.dr. K.A.H. van Leeuwen, director of studies in applied physics
  • Mrs. Dr. ir. M.L.P. van Lierop, substitue director of studies in computer science
  • Prof.dr.ir. H.C.A. van Tilborg, director of studies in mathematics
