The Eindhoven School of Education
The Eindhoven School of Education (ESoE) is a joint institute founded by the Fontys University of Applied Sciences and the Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e).
Both parties share a long history of collaborating in the fields of science and technology teacher education. TU/e contributes its extensive knowledge of science and technology, Fontys its in-depth expertise in training and strengthening the professional skills of teachers.
As of September 1st, 2006 the collaboration of both parties was given a formal institutional status and ESoE was established. In the institute TU/e and Fontys have joined their forces to boost the quality of teacher training in the southern part of the Netherlands. ESoE has a threefold mission:
